I am now the proud owner of the new iphone 3g. An early morning start queuing at 7am outside the 02 store in Fulham. Two and half hours of waiting paid off with the 16gig phone in my hand. Was it worth the wait? Too right. Apart from the plethora of new applications from the itunes app store, I shall now be able to get my emails on the move which was the main attraction, aside from the gorgeous interface and 3g speeds.
I am looking forward to using it on my travels. There are some great free apps, such as midomi, which can recognise music from any source such as the radio or another stereo and it also can be sung to and work out the tune you are singing. I have succumbed to purchasing one application called guitartool kit which is a very useful app for tuning your guitar, metronome and referencing guitar chords.
